Hi yo' slackiller and friends ^___^

K... ill get to the point...
I made a kewl normal g00d lookin' map - so check it out - and slack my man - is it possible itll be on server.counter-strike.net/maps? ^_^

The platforms with the sun-thing are the Bomb sites for the T's to blow. Its a FastRound sort of map - ppl who i played it with seem to like it.

keep adding details to it, to distinguish it from other maps.

Nice map for a first map. Better than some peeps second or third maps.
Like Slackiller said the devil is in the details.

Adding in funcs is always cool like breakable crates to reviel secret passages. Or a wall you have to blow up to reveal an area.

Cool shadows or lighting important also, like light filtering thru the hole in the cielings lighting up the raised crete platforms.

Maybe add a statue or fountain, but not a fountain with running water, maybe an old one, with dirty water and overgrown plants.
Find some good prefab sites so you dont have to make every single thing from scratch.

Just remember when you are making a custom map the most important thing is that YOU like it. It is nice to gets peeps input on your work, but there will always be someone who dont like it and want you to add or delete things. -Good Luck-

If you just want to make a map you like then thats cool.
f you want to make a map tons of people will want to download and play try adding in the details that have been suggested by those that took the time to look at the pictures you post and took the time to thoughtfully offer you help.

The difference between a great map and a good map is usually just 2 things.
Layout (gameplay, chokepoints etc) and Looks (Overall right down to the tiny details of sound and textures).
