I am attempting to create my first map, I can get the map to compile ok with the Worldcraft compiler, however, I haven't put any light entities in the map or lit textures, the map still compiles fully lit.

I tried to compile with Q2BeaVer with the same path settings, when I click "compile" it brings up 2 windows one is tiny, and the other looks like a log, but in a split second there both gone and the compile dosen't work, the Q2BeaVer window stays up. This happens even when I turn on "Display compile timing log" in the general options

I have never used Q2 beaver myself.

I use Nem's Batch Compiler to compile my maps


also post your compile log from the hammer compile

OK ,I've worked out my lighting issue.....still can't compile through BeaVer and the link on the sight dosen't seem to work for me

I downloaded nem's compiler. It compiles now, but the textures aren't there its just that ugly pink and black

Yes, I have all the .wad files I wish to use in my csrike directory. Worldcraft will compile correctly.
