Sniper Scope Problem (Counter-Strike 1.6)

Ever since I have played Counter-Strike 1.6, I have never used a correct scope on my computer. I don't know what's wrong, but the scope is always two horizontal lines and two vertical lines, with a somewhat empty space in the middle.

whats wrong with it? Other versions can probally be downloaded somewhere.

also ther might be different versions in the game itself.... check the options

That one I posted up there seems quite "unfinished."

Also, I think it should look something like this:


I found that sprite in the Counter-Strike GCF file. It was named exactly "sniper_scope.spr."

If there's a way to change the sprite, I don't think I would know how.

download or make one yourself.

create the same exact directory structure in your cstrike folder
and name the new one the same name as the old one. It should override the old one.

I tried that. It just doesn't seem to work.

There is a download somewhere for all the original models for Counter Strike 1.6. I believe it also contains all the scoops etc
